Senior Quality Assurance Inspector
Position Summary:
  Micro –Coax is expanding our QA Inspection team to meet business growth demands. We are one of the world leaders in the manufacture of high frequency semi-rigid and flexible coaxial cables, assemblies and components. Our products are used in the aerospace, military, telecom, and test and measurement industries where our customers demand the highest levels of quality and reliability in our products. - Candidate should have demonstrated knowledge in the inspection of precision machined parts
- Training Inspectors
- Strong Statistical Process Control
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and specs
 
Education / Experience:
  - 2 year Associates Mechanical or Technical Degree or equivalent
- 7-10 years mechanical inspection experience
- Aerospace and/or machined parts experience
- ASQ certification
- Six Sigma and Statistics training

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrates a strong attention to detail
- Able to coordinate solid workflow and prioritization management

Cable Production Manager
Position Summary:
  The newly created Cable Production Manager will oversee all production activities for cable production including delivering results for revenue, on time delivery, quality, cost, safety, and lead times. Has accountability for staff management including hiring, coaching, training, development, and performance management. The Cable Production Manager is responsible for driving continuous improvement and implementing Lean strategies throughout this manufacturing process.
 
Education / Experience:
  - 5 - 10 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- B.S. in Engineering and/or Business
- Proven success in driving continuous improvement through Lean and/or Six Sigma skills.
- Knowledge and experience working with a functional ERP system for execution of shop floor control, inventory status, and production scheduling.
- Knowledge and/or experience in a high mix/low volume; engineered to order; job shop manufacturing process.

Purchasing Manager
Position Summary:
  The Purchasing Manager role is accountable for all activities and results within Purchasing. This role is responsible for achieving Supplier performance objectives for Quality, On Time Delivery, Lead-Times, and Cost. Major activity in this role includes:

- Responsible for the procurement of all direct materials, indirect materials, and capital equipment.
- Responsible for all aspects of staffing including hiring, training, leadership development, and performance management
- Responsible for performing regular Supplier audits, visits, and attaining established Supplier performance objectives for Quality, On Time Delivery, Lead-Times, and Cost.
- Prepares and reviews purchase orders and contracts to assure compliance with our Customer requirements, Engineering specifications, and legal term & conditions.
- Responsible for sourcing new products, obtaining quotes, placing purchase orders, and resolving quality and delivery issues as needed to support the business
- Responsible for leading continuous improvement activities and utilizing performance metrics to improve the quality, speed, and efficiency, of our Procurement processes
- Responsible for interfacing with IT to troubleshooting ERP issues, implement new processes, and develop the tools and reports required to support Purchasing.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of Purchasing policies and procedures as required for compliance with ISO & AS9100 requirements.
- Manages the sale and disposal of surplus equipment and inventory
- Responsible for developing and implementing Supply Chain strategies to minimize inventory and lead-times
 
Education / Experience:
  - BS in Business or related field.
- Certified Purchasing Manager or Certified Professional in Supply Management
- 5-10 years experience managing the Purchasing function in a discrete manufacturing environment
- Experience managing Supply Chain performance and continuous improvement activities with demonstrated results
- Experience working with a functional ERP system and strong knowledge of ERP systems for the execution of Purchasing
- Experience in an Engineered-to-Order environment with ISO and/or AS9100 certification
- Experience in the areas of Production & Inventory Control
- Demonstrated application of Lean and/or Six-Sigma methods

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
- Self-directed; capable of developing and executing department strategies while performing tactical Procurement activities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use personal computers for email, spreadsheets, and word processing.
